... Miracle At the end of a long and painful week, when Life had gone astray, And the twin sins, Spite and Anger, had visited each day. As my dreams left me abandoned -all alone and in dismay. I sank, dejected, to my knees -and to the Lord I prayed." I could really use a miracle, to fix the things that broke, To mend the battered friendships, to restore my shattered hopes, To heal my wounded ego -to patch my broken heart. It may not happen all at once -but a miracle's a start"" I could use a chance to redeem myself -to show I really care, And take the time to prove my worth to loved ones everywhere, I'd appreciate a little time to try to make amends, If things I've said or done this week have hurt my dearest friends." I'd like to sit and ponder on my blessings, large and small. And thank ...

... Mundane Miracles While watering my yard one day~a mundane, routine chore, The Lord sent me two rare delights that made my spirits soar. The water from the hose sprayed out, and sunlight hit it so That when I looked at it just right I saw a bright rainbow! ... Autumn Flight Now the wild geese are going over, Clanking their chains on the windless sky, Over the cornfields, over the clover, Shouting their wild exuberant cry:" Come with us, come with us -come" Silver and gray, the wild geese wings Lift and spread in their miracle flight. Music fills their haunting cry As they speed against the encroaching night. They shout a message as they go, Deciphered for every beast and man." Heed the season's farewell call Take to cover while still you can" They are calling, And I, with no answer shaped in my mouth, Stand where the painted leaves are falling, Watching them disappear in the south. Disappear from my sight and my hearing, Going to who knows what far land, Straight as an arrow, and not fearing The journey ahead... Quite startled to his very core, he quickly hits the brakes, the great train shrieks in protest, and comes to stop, mid shakes. His night assistant walks the tracks and then gives out a shout, the words slice sharply through the fog:" Charles River Bridge is out !" The miracle that saved their lives? stuck to the train's headlight, a great enormous dragonfly, impaled thereon, mid-flight. Its silhouette projected to the fog a cross so plain, the Lord used that huge dragonfly to stop a moving train! ... Your Beautiful Life (To Teens or Others Contemplating Suicide) God decided in Heaven one day-that you should be born in a wonderful way. He chose your parents-their elements right-to create a special 'You. What a beautiful sight. There's no one on earth exactly like you-a miracle of life in all that you do. Sometimes we lose sight of the beauty we have. We don't see any good-only the bad. We start out our lives with the world in our hands, but, as we grow older, forget what's been planned. We feel lost and confused-unloved and alone and sometimes our hearts feel hardened-like stone. We almost get blinded by our saddened thoughts-'till we no longer see what we've really got. We get numb to the love of our family and friends-we can't see the hope, the future-just the end. These words said to you ...

I was born to make a difference, To those I meet along the way; Be it just one or a thousand, I'm careful to choose the words I say. Put here just to help another, Get through a life that's much unknown; Gaining knowledge along the trails, Making sure in my soul I've grown. I've learned to trust in God above, Through miracles He's given me; That I have a purpose in life, It is through faith that I can be. I've learned through trial and error; Now I do whatever I can; For the Lord has called upon me, To help Him teach His sacred plan. Only a handful believed that Jesus was who he claimed to be. And the multitude that did not sacrificed him on that tree. A man of greater love has never walked this earth. He healed people of their diseases, cured a man blind from birth. He performed many miracles about which we have read. He changed water in to wine, and even raised the dead. Jesus was still God, full of power and might. But he was also fully human, and so he had a fight. He felt our feelings, our joy, sadness and fear: he can fully understand each emotion, or each tear. ... The Evergreen's Rose Outside the house beside the driveway is an evergreen, And two or three times every year a miracle is seen. A single red rose starts to bud and blossom to full bloom, In the center of the evergreen facing my room. Surrounded by the greenery it glows a brilliant red, A single red rose blooming where no other makes it's bed. Each time it happens and I see it I just stop and stare, And wonder with this evergreen how did the rose get there. I always stand amazed when I am pondering this view, It always brings back memories of someone that I once knew. The evergreen reminds me of the people I have known, But one stands out just like this rose that blooms there all alone. The evergreen is beautiful like people I have met, The rose reminds me of someone I never will forget. The evergreen surrounds the rose with all it's greenery, But the beauty of ...
... Twelve Disciples and Me? How many times in life I wondered if I would have been a believer and follower of Jesus. Can you imagine walking this earth with your friends and God s son? Watching him perform miracles day after day until each day was done. Witnessing to sinners, turning water into wine, making blind men see. As I have imagined throughout my life about adventures with Thee. As I walked with them each day my faith became so strong. I learned more about HIS love and what was right and wrong. So when they came to get my Savior and hang him on that tree. How could anyone deny or rebuke him, please say it wasn t me? Would I have been like Peter and deny him ore & ore again. Would I have been like Judas and betray my old dear friend. We all knew HE was the son of God, sent from heaven above ...

... The windows of storefronts at this time of year, Reflect all their wonders as Christmas draws near. Little ones stand looking with their nose pressed to glass, As model trains on display come speeding past. Then one day it happened as I started peeking out, Little heads with beaks wide open bobbing all about. Three of them and chirping loudly reaching to the skies And both the parents flying back and forth to feed the cries. For days I watched the miracle of nature taking place, And watched the growing little birds as parents stuffed their face. I watched the dedication of the parents with their duty, And realized I've seen first hand a part of nature's beauty.
